We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, password, selected currency, timezone, monthly budget, categories, expense entries, descriptions, notes, and payment method labels.
If you use Google sign-in, we may receive basic profile information from Google, such as your email address, name, and Google account identifier, so we can create or authenticate your SavingsEasy account.
2. Expense And Account Data
Your logged expenses may include amounts, dates, categories, descriptions, notes, and related settings. This information is used to show your dashboard, charts, filters, monthly totals, and insights.
3. Cookies And Local Storage
We use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and protect your session. We also store cookie preference choices in your browser. Optional cookie categories may be offered for analytics, functional preferences, or marketing, but they are not required to use the core app.
4. How We Use Information
- To create, authenticate, and secure your account.
- To display your expenses, categories, dashboard summaries, and reports.
- To save your preferences, such as currency, budget, and timezone.

5. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell your expense history. We do not use your private spending entries for advertising profiles.
6. Sharing And Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, security, or infrastructure. These providers should only process information as needed to support SavingsEasy.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to respond to valid legal requests.
7. Data Security
Passwords are stored as hashes, sessions use HTTP-only cookies, and database queries are designed to use prepared statements. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep access limited and protect account data from unauthorized use.
8. Data Retention
We keep account and expense data while your account is active. You can clear expense history or delete your account from settings. Account deletion is intended to remove the personal data associated with your account from active application records.
9. Your Choices
- Update your profile, currency, budget, and timezone in settings.
- Export expense data from the expense history page.
- Clear your expense history from settings.
- Delete your account from settings.
- Manage optional cookie preferences using Cookie Settings in the footer.
10. Children
SavingsEasy is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
11. International Use
If you access SavingsEasy from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, your information may be processed in another location. By using the service, you understand that data may be transferred as needed to provide the app.
12. Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The updated version will show a new last updated date. Continued use of SavingsEasy after changes means the revised policy applies.
